You might not want to mention that one on the corporate forum. It's kind of bad taste...

Not only that but Ric is pretty aggressive about protecting their products from infringers so you're perhaps inviting legal trouble on top of it. Just save your money and buy the real deal when you can, you'll be better off anyway.

Just for the fun of it, I have a '91 4001CS, sunburst Fender USA P-bass with emg active pickup (I built this one). Rouge violin bass and a new Laguna Ocean 4-string active with 24 frets, Dipstick Tuners & bridge, and Bart soapbars. WOW this one SPOKE to me!

I Started on guitar when I was 8, but got into Yes in the mid seventies and fell in love with Squire's sound, especially how he used his notes with the guitar and keyboard arrangments!! So I had to get a Rick, first one was a white 4001, then a cherrysunburst, sold them years ago and now own a 4001CS. Bought it in 1991 and played out for a few years. Still play it alot but mostly along with Yes songs to try and impress my wife!!! Sometimes she is impressed. It's the only bass I own right now. Would like a Jazz bass like Geddy's!!
