Rickenbacker manufactured a couple of TR100 "fully self-contained" amplifiers. The TR100G with 4 12" speakers and the TR100GT with two 12" extra heavy duty speakers and four deluxe, detachable casters. The TR100GT pictured in the Rickenbacker catalog has a different speaker grill than the one you have, plus there is a Rickenbacker logo on the grill. The TR100GT has the same electronics has the TR100G which is decribed in the catalog as "the ultimate heavy duty stage amplifier." |

I'm pleased to say that my TR100GT sounds fantastic now, after a thorough cleaning by the good folks at Aviator Audio in Edmonds, WA. Everything is clear in the sound, and apparently the original equipment is all there. I hope that others are lucky enough to find an amp like this and have a shop in the area that can rescue the sound. |

I have finally found this amplifier for sale on a website. And I really want to buy it, but I have no idea what it is worth. Before I pay to much, does anyone here knows what the value is of the TR-100GT? |

I just made a deal for one of these and I'm picking it up tomorrow. I'm super excited. However, I have a question about the effects loop and how it's labeled. Specifically here: http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/6060 ... kright.jpg Is the Preamp #1 In/Out and Preamp #2 In/Out essentially a stereo return? Or, is the only way to run this amp in stereo to plug in through the stereo inputs? I ask because I plan to use this amp with a different preamp and it would be cool to have a stereo fx loop, but I'm not sure if this is capable of that. Thanks! |

I'm real late in answering this and I'm hoping you got your hands on it already, but the going rate for this amp seems to be $130 to $200US. |
