Hello
Firstly, this is my first post so hello! I have to admit that I am not a Rickenbacker guitar owner... yet. But I have just bought an old Rickenbacker amplifier from ebay.
It was advertised as 40s or 50s but I think it might be 1930s or early 40s. It has obviously seen better days but I quite like that used look!
Looking at the old catalogues on the Rickenbacker site the amplifier appears to be 1935 but it does not have a hole for a guitar stand and the small studs around the grill are at the corners rather than at compass points.
It has the following tubes 5Y3, 6N7, and two 6L6s and the speaker has '12C5 72 12JSb HR27' on it.
I would appreciate any help you can give on its date and model number. If you have an old catalogue with a photo or description that would be amazing.
