since a week I'm owner of a TR25!
there seem to exist two versions:
with toggle switch or rocker switch and headwhones.
maybe there was a RIC logo on the enclosure.
is there anyone with information about?

Here are the panel features of the TR25 from the "Solid State Amplifier Series" catalog:

Dual instrument inputs
Separate pre-level and master/echo/effects control
Individual ultra wide range treble, midrange and bass controls
Tremelo depth and speed controls
Reverb control
Line reverse power switch
Power on indicator

The "Rickenbacker" logo is located at the top right of the control panel.

Do you guys know how to date your TR25? I'd like to know when this one I acquired was made. Thanks!

I have one made in 1976; the control furthest to the right (facing the amp), next to the on/off/on toggle light switch is the "master" which is really on overdrive and gives you a distortion fuzz tone when you use it. I've seen others on Ebay with denominate it as "distortion". It looks like the catalog description that poster RicandVox put up, included that control which appears to have been used for "echo" or other effects on other models. I've only seen "master" and "distortion." I get "distortion" is deemed an "effect." you can get your amp dated by using the Ric Serial number search on this site.

I meant I bet "distortion" is deemed an effect. I don't have a tremolo/reverb pedal/switch for this amp. Anyone know where to get one that works? -- doesn't have to be Ric (which I suspect would be impossible to find). Also there's an input jack for "speaker" in the back under the transistor/transformer. Any one ever try to use an external speaker with this amp? My speak is wired with two soldered leads, and is not hooked up to this jack.
Very clean sounding amp, naturally, with solid state. Some time I really yearn for tubes. I amp have a Super Champ DX with an 8" speaker, and it has its time and place.
