Hi there,
I wondered if anyone on here owns or can provide information on the early echo amps made by Rickenbacker to an Echosonic design. I don't know if they used the same tape transport as the Echosonic but if they did I would like to get photos etc. I am hoping to build a replica of the Echosonic, as used by Chet Atkins, Scotty Moore etc.

Here are a few of photos of my restored tape echo board in my 1961 Rickenbacker Ek-O-Sound M-30. You can see the placement of the components, as well as the way the motor is setup with the idler wheel and the flywheel/capstan.

As well, I removed all the components from my tape board, and scanned both the Top and Bottom of it on a large photocopier. I used WinZIP to place each of the 2 scanned JPG photos in their separate .ZIP file - attached to this post. you will have to extract them first, but if you print them out, you can use them as a template to know the exact size and placement of the board. The board is 3/4" thick plywood, 9" wide, and 20.2" long.
