I recently restrung my Ric 325 3/4 size with Ric strings.
As far as I can tell it is strung correctly. I am getting a metallic sound on my low E and A strings. It would seem to me that the tailpiece is too high in relationship to the bridge. I have not adjusted the bridge settings at all, but the bridge can't go much higher on that side of the guitar. Short of bringing the guitar in to the nearest Ric dealer, what adjustments can I make that won't get the guitar out of wack. Is there a sheet that has approx settings?
The Tailpiece is the accent vibrato and it has the roller bridge
I own two Ric's, and this one is just pure fun.

Did the tailpiece twist on its mounting screw (or strap button)? Can it be twisted back without straining any wood (screws)?
I had a 325V63 with the Accent vibrato. Mine had a standard bridge. Roller bridges can get sympathetic vibrations too. Try adjusting the wheels a bit or look for slack?

Thanks I'll try adjusting the tailpiece first.

Where did you get your roller bridge? I need one for a 330 but can't find out anything about them.

The bad news...they're not available as an accessory right now from RIC, and I don't know if they ever will be. The good news: Lots of folks are tricking out their 325c58 guitars with Bowtie bridges ("just like John did!"), so you may be able to pick one up secondhand.
