I've been looking for the Ric 6 string 610's, and I haven't come across any. Everybody's keeping them?
Thanks

They do turn up from time to time. Never as popular as the 620/625, probably due to their plainer look compared to the deluxe 620.
People who play them tend to hang onto them, as they are very comfortable guitars thanks in part to their comfortable top edge.

Thanks Mine (a JG one from Jan 1991) is sitting on a guitar stand about three feet away... FYI. There is a butchered red one on the bay right now...

Yes, they might not have the "deluxe looks" but they are more comfortable to play than the 620. I am also looking for one. But they seldomly appear on the used market in good shape AND at a reasonable price.

I have one of the blue ones (black pick guard). The paint on this one is SO fragile. My 360/12 doesn't seem to have that issue, but man, the 610 just shows everything. Great guitar though. One problem I've always had is that on a dark stage, I can't see the fret markers. I had to put small pieces of white tape on the neck so I can figure out where I am!

Thanks Great guitars--I wish Rickenbacker would put them back in production. They're very comfortable to play, and sound great!

I often wonder why Ric doesn't have other models in production, as well. Maybe it would be possible for a person to order one, and pay extra for it being made for them, but I guess that sounds too much like "custom shop."
