Somebody was asking me if a 1984 4003 had the new truss rods or the old truss rods. This bass has the 2 piece pickguard and the adjustment at the body. This guy wants to adjust the rods but the method is different depending on which type of rods they are.

They are the old type, but they are reversed with the adjustment end in the body...
