Thanks so much for all the info! It is working fine now and I am getting used to using it.
In the 20 years I have had this guitar I never replaced the missing bar because I heard it put the guitar out of tune. I've found this to be totally untrue, it stays well tuned (as it did before}. Thumbs up for the accent tremelo.
I know from my Rickenbacker book that the data is lost, but does anyone have a ballpark figure for the number of NS 360s and 365s crafted (not manufactured)in 1967.

Best solution I've found (depending upon the guitar and the unit)--is either one small black rubber gasket, on top of the stock white plastic one, or good ole' plumber's teflon tape wrapped on the Accent's main screw threads. One or the other of those methods will work...

I am an aggressive Accent user, and have bought Accents that arrived with both the nylon washer, and the wave/disc washers; in my experience, the wave/disc works a lot better wrt the screw not moving.
