i have a '78 4001 jetglo black very good condition with only one very small 1/16' chip in the paint on the side of the neck, no real noticeable belt rash, with original case unfortunately it does not have the checkered pattern inlay only the white inlay. asking around 1,800 just wondering if that was about right or if it was to high.

I'd say you were a little high with the economy still struggling. Please don't offer it for sale here, as stated in the Semi-Official forum rules.

I wish you back a non-struggling economy!
In Western Australia, local price for a post 1973 4001 is about $2500-3000, should you decide to buy local ($3500-4000 store bought).
Can you spell ''importing from the USA''
