I have a plethora of amps... the ones that work pretty well are Crate VintageClub50 /w/ 3x10... Epiphone Valve Sr Combo, and Epiphone BluesCustom30 modified.

My '06 FG 330 (with Ric humbuckers) is played through a Fender DRRI, an SWR Strawberry Blonde (I know, I know. But I like the tones very much), a Vox AC4TV, and a Bose tower sound system. When on the Bose, the sound sometimes goes through a Vox DA5, a T.C. Jauernjg Gristle King pedal or a Boss Fender '63 Reverb pedal, before getting to the Bose. Sometimes.

Hi Ezio, I have been looking for 360/12c63, where did you find yours? I have tried quite a few places on the internet. Is yours new or used? Good luck with yours. Ed 8MilesHigher wrote: Ezio wrote: Hi everyone I have just bought a ric 360/12 c63 and was wondering if anyone has a rough guide of where to set up a vox ac30 tb with alnico blues for a nice clean sound Ezio -- I don't know if anybody every responded to your Vox AC 30 settings inquiry from March, but maybe an idea on maximizing your clean tone would be to try a lower gain tube, such as a 12au7 in the V2 position. This is helpful also for accentuating the tonal differences between your Normal and Top Boost channels by adding more clean headroom in the Top Boost. There are some interesting comments and dialogue on the equivalent of "wine-tasting" various old Preamp, Power and Rectifier tubes in AC 30's here http://www.vintageamps.com/plexiboard/v ... 1f#p825938As you've already got the alnico blue speakers, that's a plus for obtaining the cherished Ric-Vox chime so many folks are looking for. Good luck in your quest for that Ric-Vox tone !

I'm currently using my modded Vibrochamp with a 4x12 cab. The new powertube I put in adds a great deal of warmth, and the Rickenbacker 620/12 sounds really bold through the Tweed Clean channel. The Vox-esque channel sucks for cleans, though, sadly.
Obviously, I have an affinity for digital products.

Howdy,
These days I'm digging my Mapleglo 360/6 straight into my Dr.Z Carmen Ghia. With it's Celestion blue, I'm able to get reasonably close approximations of "Get off my Cloud", "It's all over now" and other British Invasion tones.

I have a 66 or 67 450-6. I use it with a 61 Gibson Falcon. I bought the Ric in 1982 and the Falcon in 1984. Neither has failed to disappoint.

Obviously, I have an affinity for digital products. I think it's noteworthy that I am currently playing through my old Fender HRD again. I did some modifications with the pre-amp tubes, and it sounds much different and awesome. Imagine Trey Anastasio's sound; it's very similar.

Bought a Falcon about six months ago - killer with any Gibson-style humbucker guitar. Tremolo's amazing. However, it's bright and very clean and not great with single coils. My '09 Rick 360 and Strat sound kind of lifeless through it to my ears. I'm looking for some natural tube-amp drive, though.
