I don't know how (or where!) you were lucky enough to get that guitar, but I wish you had a cloning machine handy! What an exquisite Rickenbacker!
I wish Rickenbacker would offer the f-hole as an option on the 360/12C63.

Thanks Clifton! It is a '64 model, but it has a couple mods. Great 12-string though.

I have a similar looking Fireglo 360/12V64 with an f-hole that was made in 1999.
I believe it is one of very few made.

Very nice! You're very lucky! I wish RIC would add them to the vintage line. I don't think it would be that difficult--from what I understand, it just involves the change of one jig in the manufacturing process.

I saw PT at a book signing in Philly for his new autobiography; during the Q & A session, he explained that he loves Ricks still, but he stopped using them in live performance because he was breaking them too easily, and they were "getting too expensive to replace".
PS - He refused to sign my PT Limited Edition pickguard. They said in advance that he was only signing books, but I had to try....!
