just purchased a new 4003 mapleglo 2012 , stunning looking and sounding bass , great set up out the box just changed the strings and adjusted the treble pick up and that was it felt at home on it straight away. the bass was manufactured 3 weeks ago and it was delivered from the rickenbacker uk rep. fantastic.

Yup, I bought a January, 2012 model 4003 in July, and it's great! Mapleglo like yours, too!

Congrats, Great looking Mapleglo you have. There must be something in air. I just bought a 2012 Mapleglo on Nov. 6th. I hope you love yours, as much as I love mine. Mine was made first week of Sept., 2012. Best of luck with it!
