I have got the same problem. I measure about the same values, 10.2k Ohm and 158k Ohm.
@Bengal65: You wrote you measure after unsoldering 1.2k Ohm which is impossible, you probably meant 1.2M Ohm, isn 't it?

I contacted 'Sound Me Out'. I hope they send me a new pickup.
