The rick-o-sound decal has partially worn off under the input jack on my Roger McGuinn 370-12. Can a replacement decal be purchased?

It(the lettering) is ink-screened on I believe rather than a transfer, so the lettering is part of the plate, so to speak....

Thanks, John. That being the case, I guess I will let it go rather than replacing the plate and lowering the value of the guitar for "non original" parts.

Hmm,

Mine are wearing or worn off as well-except for my latest Ric. Maybe Ric could sell some sort of kit to replace the lettering, not that anyone should have any problem knowing which jack to use!

I think the value of my Rick got lowered the last time Smiling face down played the Scene Bar in Glendale; I think some onstage beer bottle soccer kicks resulted in a couple of new chips in the finish of my AG Blue 360 WB, or else it ws a couple of misplaced windmill strums..........

I might be seeing Dale Fortune or Jingle Jangle sooner than I had planned!

The lettering on the jackplate is screened on using a special ink that really grabs onto the chrome surface. Of course it is possible to re-letter using INT transfers ("prestype"), but this is good only if you'll never use the guitar or bass, as it chips off chrome in a very short time.
