Oh, and thank you Paul for the diagnostic analysis; it is very interesting. My other acoustic 12-sting is an old 80's Takemine.
My 730-12L came set up and I'm still happy with the set up. That being said, I have yet to change my factory strings (I only take this beauty out on occasion as I would hate to see it get scratched or dinged and I have five kids that excel at scratching and dinging things).
