Other than my Ric I currently own:
1. 1990 Guild D-25 Dreadnought
2. 2000 Samick Ray Benson signature Telecaster copy that has a SWEET neck & just roars. A bucker at the neck, a Strat middle pup & a classic tele bridge pup. Extremely versatile guitar with a beautiful yellow flame maple top on an alder body. For a Korean guitar it is very, very nice. I have it set up for slide right now & use it exclusively for that.
3. 2005 American Series 3-color sunburst Fender Stratocaster. Classic. Great playing & sounding guitar. It is what it is... a Strat! Aside from my 650 Dakota, this one gets a lot of playing time.
I used to play Gibsons almost exclusively in the late 70s early 80s...then I went into the 80's thing with an Ibanez Roadstar & then back to Gibbies with a Les Paul. They're all gone now.
Next on the hit list: 370 or a 340...or maybe a 620.
Washburn acoustic which I've had for about 25 years. Fender Strat which I've turned into a Fat Strat. Blues Saraceno in the bridge, Jazz neck. Peavey Wolfgang Special. Fender Telecaster Les Paul Studio, swamp ash model. Dimarzio Air Classic in the bridge, V-PAF neck. PRS SE Soapbar II
I use my Ric 330 for the clean thing. On occasion I'll use a Boss OD-3 pedal with the neck pickup only.
For the full-out rock thing it's a toss between my LP and my Strat. Each has thier pros and cons and I can't seem to make up my mind as to which one I prefer.

Well as a poor 20 year old student I dont have a lot of money just now, but what i do have i spent on my C58 and my impending C64, however, others that I have include a '59 resissue telecaster, a fender strat copy, and an epihone EJ160e, and a really bad spanish guitar thats about 35 years old with extremely high action, nasty!

Other guitars? Shame on all of you people. There are no other guitars!

Rickenbacker owners are very loyal but you have to remember that there are some visitors to the RIC Forums that have yet to get their first Rick and all they have are the "other guitars."
I believe that Tennis_Nick that started this thread is still in search of his first Rickenbacker guitar but maybe someday soon he will have a Rick along with his "other guitars."
