Hello, I am looking for my first Rickenbacker and I want either a 330 or 360. I like the look of the 330 more but I was wondering what your opinions are on which is better. Thanks.

Search the forums - this is a frequently asked question!
There is really no "better" here. The 360 has more "deluxe" appointments - binding on the back and neck, triangular inlays, both stereo and mono output capability, and maybe a slightly more comfortable body with its rounded front edges, but others believe that the 330 is a little more classic in its sharper curves and it certainly has an elegant simplicity to it. Both are built to same levels of excellent quality.
It is highly debatable whether there is any significant or noticeable difference in sound between the two.

Teh 330/360 choice is clearly one of aesthetics. As they both play and sound nearly identical (I don't want to get into a debate here, folks!), it's mostly what looks better to your eyes.

If you have tried out both the 330 and the 360, and like them equally, then consider the look, price and availability when deciding between the two Rickenbackers.

for my opinion, go with the 330, not to talk down the other models but the 330 is a real fine box at a fair price, you can't go wrong with it

330 any day. I know lots of you love the look of the 360 but I cannot get around to liking it one bit.

I just received a new 330/12 AFG this week, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations by far in terms of quality, sound (plugged into a classic VOX) and aesthetics (AFG is absolutely stunning). I must admit I had some notion of a significant gap with 360s, now I just assume 360s are just even as good or better. I might as well get a 360 now too!
